Extended care services offer invaluable support for families with children in grades PK-8, ensuring a safe and enriching environment outside regular school hours. These services are particularly beneficial for working parents, as they provide reliable care options both before and after school. Before School Care is available from 5:45 a.m. to 6:45 a.m., offering a calm and structured start to the day for an additional fee. After School Care, licensed by the Hawaii State Department of Health and Human Services, operates daily from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and extends its hours on Wednesdays from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. This program is more than just a care facility; it's an extension of the educational environment. Students are given opportunities to complete their homework with the aid of various technology tools, fostering both learning and creativity. Additionally, the program includes engaging arts and crafts activities, along with outdoor games and activities that promote physical health and teamwork. A highlight for many students is the water play days, which offer a fun and refreshing break from routine, ensuring that extended care is an experience they look forward to each day.
